Third edition

CETIBA organized the third edition of the Euro-Mediterranean Wood Innov Design competition on June 14, 2022, at the headquarters of the Tunisian Union of Industry, Commerce, and Handicrafts (UTICA). This year's theme was “Innovating for the elderly and people with reduced mobility.”

This day was hosted by 74 students and pupils from 15 institutions, including engineering schools, design, graphic arts, architecture and specialized training centers, both public and private, as well as the media, representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Industrialists.

Participants were divided into two categories:

  • Senior category: students in their final year of high school,
  • Junior category: students from other levels.

Senior Award:

  • 1st Prize : Mohamed ROMANI (ISAM Kairouan) – A MINIPRESS machine for drilling and installing accessories, donated by the company BLUM AFRIQUE DU NORD; free accommodation in an APII incubator for one year; support and technical assistance from CETIBA; a gift voucher worth 1,000 dinars; and a weekend in a 5* hotel, donated by BLUM AFRIQUE DU NORD ."
  • 2th Award: Fares BELKACEM (CSFMBM Monastir) – A professional toolkit and a set of raw materials provided by PROMODAR, free accommodation in an APII incubator for one year, support and technical assistance from CETIBA, and a gift voucher worth two thousand dinars.
  • 3th Award: Foued TRIKI (CSFMBM Monastir) – A professional toolkit provided by PROMODAR, a gift voucher worth two thousand dinars, and a three-month paid internship provided by FABLAB ELSPACE.

Junior Prize:

  • 1st Award: Malek MAHROUG (ISAM Sfax) – A gift voucher worth four thousand dinars and a weekend in a 5* hotel offered by “BLUM AFRIQUE DU NORD.”
  • 2th Award: Ameni CHIKHAOUI (ISBAN Nabeul) – A gift certificate worth three thousand dinars.
  • 3th Award: Hiba NABLI – A gift certificate worth two thousand dinars.

Special Jury Prize:

  • Mohamed LOUATI – Plaque of honor.
  • Free access for one year to the AIDIMME library of innovative materials, offered by “AIDIMME” (Spain).

For all winners:

  • A training day for all winners and their supervisors, offered by BLUM NORTH AFRICA.
  • A six-day training course in 3D printing, laser cutting and engraving, and Human Centered Design offered by “FABLAB EL SPACE.”
