On May 3, 2019, CETIBA announced the second edition of its design competition. WOOD INNOV DESIGN 2019 at the headquarters of the Tunisian Union of Industry, Commerce, and Handicrafts (UTICA), whose theme for this second edition was “Everything starts with a dream.”

Among the participants at the event were 80 students from 20 institutions, including engineering, design, graphic arts, and architecture schools, as well as specialized training centers, both public and private, along with media representatives, representatives from the Ministry of Industry, and industrialists.

At least twelve (12) prizes were awarded to the winners of the competition, and two (2) additional special prizes will be awarded to the winning institutions:

1^st Prize Bassem MLILI (ISBAS) – A week of training at Groupe ESB Ecole Supérieure du Bois in Nantes, France (modules to be chosen by the winner) worth €2,500, with all expenses covered.
2nd Prize: Mohamed Ali DAMMAK (ISAM Gabès) – A check for 5,000 dinars donated by the industrial company MEUBLATEX.
3rd Prize: Mohamed GHORBEL (ISAM Sfax) – A check for 4,000 dinars donated by the industrial company INTERMEUBLE.
4th Prize: Ameni CHIKHAOUI (IPSET) – A check for 4,000 dinars donated by the industrial company SOTUFAB MEUBLES.
5th PrizeEya ABED (ISAM Mahdia) – A check for 3,000 dinars donated by the National Federation of Wood and Furniture (FNBA).
6th Prize: Nada KREFA (EPI Sousse) – A check for 3,000 dinars donated by the Technical Center for the Wood and Furniture Industry (CETIBA).
7th Prize: Houssem Eddine AGILI (IPSET) – A check for 3,000 dinars donated by the industrial company MEUBLES MEZGHANI
8th Prize: Youssef CHAOUCH (IT Business School Nabeul) – A monthly scholarship of 200 DT for 9 months offered by the industrial company INTERMEUBLE.
Prize Best مصمم: Hela CHAYAH (CSFMB Monastir) – Recruitment offered by the industrial company MEUBLES MEZGHANI.
Prize STANLIVER Special (1st prize)Mayssa HENTATI (ESSTED) – A check for 2,000 dinars with the marketing of the winning product offered by the industrial company STANLIVER Design Feeling.
STANLIVER Special Prize (2nd prize): Khira ALOULOU (ISAM Sfax) – A gift certificate worth 500 dinars offered by the industrial company STANLIVER Design Feeling.
STANLIVER Special Prize (3rd prize)Cyrine NAHDI (Polytech-Intl) – A gift certificate worth 500 dinars offered by the industrial company STANLIVER Design Feeling.
Special Jury PrizeTaheni KHLIF (ESPRIT) – A one-year scholarship for an engineer to complete a Master's 2 degree in CANADA after completing a Master's 1 degree at ENIS in renewable materials, offered by the National Engineering School of Sfax “ENIS.”
Prize Special BLUM NORTH AFRICA: Monastir Sectoral Training Center for Woodworking Professions - Two drilling machines donated by the industrial company “BLUM NORTH AFRICA.”
Special Jury PrizeIPSET – Free access for one year to the Aidimme Instituto Tecnológico library of innovative materials.
EL SPACE Special PrizeTo all winners – A free entrepreneurship training course for all winners. ELSpace Social Innovation Hub.
