The Technical Center for the Wood and Furniture Industry (CETIBA), in collaboration with the National Federation of Wood and Furniture (FNBA) and under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy, is organizing the Euro-Mediterranean WOOD INNOV DESIGN competition, with a different theme for each edition.
CETIBA is launching this competition with a view to:
- Recognizing excellence in furniture design and encouraging young designers to enrich the field of furniture design.
- Contribute to improving the quality and value of Tunisian wood and furniture products by promoting design as a differentiating factor and an essential competitive advantage.
- Integrate new graduates from art and design schools into professional life by offering them the opportunity to test their creations in an industrial environment.
- Support government efforts to promote employment among young graduates, particularly those from art and design schools.
- Create a dynamic and rewarding competitive environment in design schools that encourages the emergence of talent.
- Forging closer ties between design schools and the wood and furniture industries.
The competition is open to students from engineering, design, graphic arts, and architecture schools, as well as students from specialized training centers, whether public or private, national or international. Participation may be individual or collective, provided that the group designates a project leader who will be our sole point of contact.
