Tests carried out in CETIBA's laboratories enable the conformity of furniture, joinery, and materials to be verified in relation to national, European, and international standards as part of technical control for import or export, certification, or new product development.
CETIBA's laboratories enable numerous tests to be carried out on products of various sizes and compositions in the following areas:
- Furnishings: School furniture, office furniture, home furniture, foam and mattresses, childcare products.
- Construction: Carpentry (wood and wood derivatives, PVC, and aluminum), adhesives, composite materials, plastics, panels, wood, finishing products.
Metrology Unit (MU)
The metrology unit manages and monitors testing equipment, measuring instruments, and standards.
